    A quieter slot. Linger; the wifi works.

    Short, sharp, then back to work.

  8. 18:00Candles lit

    The room turns. Wine glasses come out.

  9. 18:30First bottle

    Tonight's open table: Frappato.

  10. 20:00Kitchen slows

    Plates by the bottle. Cheese, salt-cod, focaccia.

  11. 21:00Last orders

    One more glass; we'll happily uncork late.

  12. 21:45Last pour

    Lights up. Music goes quiet.
