The Room

Two rooms, four chairs, one diary.

We open at nine and close on Sundays. By appointment, no walk-ins — so the room stays calm, the music stays low, and your set gets the time it asks for.

Halcyon opened in Lothian Mews in spring 2019: an independent studio first, a salon second. A place to come in tired and leave quietly put-together.

From the Royal Mile, walk down past the Cathedral on your left.
02Turn
At the corner of Old Fishmarket Close, turn down the steps toward the Cowgate.
03Spot The Door
Halfway down, look for a small black door with a brass nameplate reading Halcyon.
04Press The Bell
Press the bell — we'll buzz you up. Two flights of stairs; coats on the rack to your left.
